2003. They are English teachers at Ganja schools and Ganja
State University. There is no doubt how great is the role
of Peace Corps volunteers for Ganja youth. Considering that
fact we decided to invite Peace Corps volunteers as native
English speakers to join and conduct the traditional Club
which is held once a week. Conversation Club is held by means
of different games, discussions, competitions, listening and
interesting conversation topics. The most interesting and
useful part of it is the music, English songs sung by students.
At the beginning of the Club William plays a song on CD and
gives the students the words of the song. Then after getting
familiar with the song, students sing it themsleves and William
plays the quitar to accompany them. The second part of the
Club includes different activitities described above. I would
like to say that these people really do this job with pleasure.
They enjoy it and their work makes our Center more lively
and interesting. We hope that this cooperation will last a
long time and will be helpful to our users.
You are welcome to participate in an hour of English conversation!
The Club is held on Mondays , at 16.00 pm |
