Hasan Y. Huseynov,
the director of Ganja Education Information Center was
born in 1957 in Ganja. In 1978 graduated from the faculty
of physics of Baku State University. In 1984 began the
post-graduate study in Moscow Institute of Electron Techniques
and in 1987, defending the dissertation, received the
degree of |
Candidate of Phys-Math.nauk. In 1978-1981
worked as teacher of Physics at the secondary-school in Narimanabad
district of Lenkoran. In 1982-1984 worked as an engineer- technologist
in "Billur" factory in Ganja. Studying at Moscow Institute
of Electron Techniques worked there as Research assistant. After
returning to Ganja in 1988, worked as a teacher, Chief of the
Laboratory in Azerbaijan Agricultural Academy, in 1989-1992
and in 1990-1992 was the Head of the Humanitarian Department
of newspaper "Vatan. From August of 1992 to June 1993 was
the Senior Consultant at the President office of Azerbaijan
Republic In 1996 by contest received the grant and in the USA,in
Birmingham, at School of Education of Alabama was a visiting
scholar during 6 months. From September of 1996 to April of
1997 worked at Ganja University as an external affairs prorector.
From May of 1997 to February of 1998 was the Coordinator of
Education Programs of OSI-Azerbaijan , International Humanitarian
Organization (now OSI -AF)and since February of 1998 is the
director of Ganja Education Information Center in Ganja Preparing
to become an Education Advisor Hasan Huseynov participated in
Internship Training Program presented by the USEIC in February
of 1998 held in Moscow and in November of 2000 participated
in USBT Training Program for an Education Advisors held inWashington.
Hasan Huseynov has more than 20 scientific articles on physics,
and 12 publications dedicated on problems of education. Lately
as an Education Advisor participated in the International Conferences
concerning education problems: ICSEI Conference, Manchester,
January, 1998; Education Fear, Moscow, Russia, March,1998; EAIE
Conferences (Maastricht, Netherlands, December 1999, Laypzigh,
Germany, December, 2000); NAFSA Annual Conferences (Denver,
May 1999; San-Diego, May 2000); NAFSA Regional Conference, Richmond,
November 2000 |
